In-Office Guidelines

Office Guidelines

Note for Remote Employees: While your current role may be remote, it is important that you review and understand these office guidelines. Should you choose or be required to work from the office at any time, these policies will apply to you. Familiarity with these rules ensures a smooth transition and consistent workplace expectations for all team members, regardless of work location.

Dishwashing

  • Each individual is responsible for washing their own dishes by hand.
  • The dishwasher is reserved for lunch & learns, large meetings, or mixers. We do not accumulate enough dishes daily to justify running the dishwasher, and items left overnight can develop mold.
  • When the dishwasher is used, it must be emptied by the next day. Mallory will do this, but she needs to know if someone runs it.

Refrigerator Use

  • When placing an item in the fridge, use a sticky note to add your name and the date. This helps us keep the fridge organized and prevents food from rotting. There will be a weekly audit to throw out perishable food older than 1 week.

Kitchen Appliances

  • Please ensure any mess made when using kitchen appliances is cleaned up. This includes wiping away spilled coffee grounds.

Beverages and Snacks

  • Water bottles and soda are reserved for mixers and clients.
  • Filtered water is available in Suite 225, on the left-hand side of the sink. Filtered water pitchers are also available in both suites.
  • Office snacks are intended for staff as needed, not for frequent consumption multiple times a day.

Recycling and Cleanliness

  • Items placed in the recycling bin must be free of food to avoid attracting bugs.
  • While Mallory will assist in keeping the kitchens tidy, each person is expected to clean up after themselves. Please be respectful and do your part.

Supplies

  • If items such as water bottles, soda, snacks, coffee, creamer, filters, paper, pens, etc., are running low, please notify Mallory promptly.

Common Areas

  • Keep common areas tidy. Dispose of any trash or recyclables appropriately.
  • Return any shared items, such as dishes, utensils, or office supplies, to their proper place after use.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
