Headquartered in Michigan, this established custom wood surfaces fabricator has strong relationships with the major furniture manufacturing companies based out of Michigan. The Company has a wide variety of capabilities and employs skilled craftsmen to fulfill the custom nature of its customers’ needs.
The Company’s projects vary in both size and complexity. Customers often approach the company with difficult or unique custom projects that require special attention. For this reason, the Company has developed the ability to take on both small and large orders and has made a number of expansions to the facility to increase its capabilities.
Since the Company focuses solely on fabricating wood furniture surfaces, its customer base is limited to other furniture manufacturers. However, Company leadership has developed and photographed a proprietary product line that is ready to be marketed and produced to expand the Company’s customer base by targeting the home office and home furnishing markets.
The Business is co-owned, with one owner having had limited involvement in operations for the past couple of years, while the other is solely responsible for bookkeeping oversight. The Company’s CEO is the spouse of one of the owners and currently runs the day-to-day operations.
The real estate has an estimated value of $5.3M and the owners wish to sell the real estate rather than lease it to new business owners. The owners wish to divest the Business in order to pursue retirement.
