Established over 50 years ago, this Company is a well-established, highly profitable manufacturer of prototype and short-run parts, special tools, dies, fixtures and special machines for customers in the aircraft, appliance, automotive aftermarket, heavy equipment and office furniture industries.

Ownership desires to pursue retirement; however is willing to work part-time for up to 6 months post-transaction to assist the buyer in making a successful transition. Presently the owner works 25-30 hours per week. There is a 30-year professional manager that oversees the business and allows the owner a relatively high level of freedom from managing day-to-day operations. Additionally, the staff consists of skilled, seasoned and trusted veterans that operate autonomously and think critically. While the Company services approximately 10 customers on an annual basis, one customer
makes up a majority of sales. This customer is a Fortune 500 industrial company specializing in heavy equipment manufacturing on a worldwide basis. The Company is electronically integrated with this customer and has been a preferred supplier for over a decade. Additionally, the Company has one other significant Fortune 500 customer.

Growth Opportunities:
- Production opportunities. The Company’s primary Fortune 500 customer has requested that the Company quote production on the prototype parts that they help develop. At this time the Company has not pursued these opportunities.
- Acquisition of boring mills. Presently the Company turns down the machining of large pieces that could be handled by the acquisition of a five inch or six-inch horizontal boring mill. There is space in the plant for such machines.
- Improve Marketing Mix. According to ownership there is a great opportunity to grow into the automotive space, however it would take some upgrades in the company’s PC technology. Additionally, there are plenty of opportunities to develop sales in the appliance and office furniture industries.
- Online Marketing. The Company has not invested in improving/updating its website or Google presence since 2004. Investment in search engine optimization or pay-per-click advertising would bring more quoting opportunities.
The real estate, which consists of a light industrial classified 14,000+ sqft building on 2.17 acres (with room for expansion), is owned and available for sale.
